over City of Edinburgh ll in Edinburgh College last Saturday. A run of points from Emma Clarkson’s
service and scores from Natalia Stopowska gave the visitors a 9/2 lead. The young Edinburgh side
struggled to cope with the Dundee attack and the score moved onto 15/5 with Laura Ward and Ann-
Marie Lafferty both hitting runs of points. The Edinburgh side only scored two more points as
Dundee took the set 25/7.

points after runs of scores from the visitors. Dundee took the second set 25/9. The young home side

became longer but the power of Stopowska and Ward moved the score along. Erin Cattanach who
made her starting debut added some subtlety to the attack. Agnes Bednarek won a run of 5 points
from her service and added several well placed shots to take Dundee to 22/11. The last 3 points
were scored with the Emma Clarkson and Laura Ward combination to take the set 25/11 and secure
