Ladies gather momentum with second successive win

The ladies entertained Caledonia West ll and nerves played a big part in the early stages with Dundee gifting 7 of the Cale’s 13 points as they led 13/11!  Laura Ward then stepped up winning 4 points, Sarah Driscoll and Hannah Lawrie both scored and Lucy Wishart scored the last 2 points to take the set 25/15.  The same three players scored well in the second set to take the score to 19/10.  Agnes Bednarek and Sarah Driscoll finished off the set inn style winning 25/15.

Dundee replaced Ting Yi Wong in the setting role with Lucy Wishart and allowed Pauletta Talmon and Laura ward to profit with some clever counter attack points to lead 19/9.  The young Cale team responded with several points from their strong serves and forced Dundee into several hitting errors from poor control.  They sneaked up to close the gap to 17/21.  Laura Ward and then Hannah Lawrie hit the final points to secure a 3/0 win 25/17 and their second 3/0 win of the season.
