The ladies travelled to Edinburgh to take on NUVOC ll for the second time in a month.  Out to seek revenge for a 3/2 defeat in October, the Dundee side took an 8/4 lead with Sarah Driscoll and Lana Edgar both helping control the net.  Natalia Stopowska and Danila Gasperini helped Dundee take a 22/20 lead.  NUVOC came back but Sarah Driscoll hit the winning shot to win the set 25/22.  The Dundee side had momentum and they scored runs of points as they controlled the game.  Driscoll, Stopowska and Claire Pollock all scored well with Dundee taking the set 25/17 for a 2/0 lead.  The home side altered their line-up and found their way to a 16/10 lead which they held to take the third set 25/20.  As both side tired, they racked up runs of points with NUVOC leading 10/5 then Dundee taking over to lead 17/14.  Sarah Driscoll and Danila Gasperini took the score near the finish line at 23/21 but NUVOC top server, Gina Helfer, caused problems as the visitors faltered losing 23/25.  It was NUVOC’s Helfer again who changed the final set.  Dundee led 8/6 but she powered over another run of serves that took the score to 13/8.  A spirited fight back was not enough as the home side repeated the 3/2 win taking the set 15/12.
